Description: Custom "super yacht" builder Trinity Yachts LLC delivered the 161-foot trideck motoryacht "Imagine" to the open water Sunday. After completing its sea trials, the Imagine set sail for Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., then on to the Bahamas where its owners can enjoy private sailing in the Caribbean. The Imagine is one of 50 contracts handled since Trinity established itself in 1988. Trinity returned operations to its France Road facility near the Industrial Canal despite moving its headquarters to Gulfport, Miss., after Hurricane Katrina. The company restored its New Orleans operations complete with a 38-acre purchase agreement with the Port of New Orleans and $4.5 million in improvements. The Imagine is powered by two Caterpillar marine engines with 3,384 horsepower each at 1800 reveolutions per minute encased in a heavily insulated engine room.
