Show Managing Director James Brooke commented, "Thursday 20th November has been an exciting day of developments for the Show with the arrival of the powerboats and the circulation of the Show Preview.

The central pool is almost full of water now and the first yachts will be craned in tomorrow." "An extraordinary amount of hard work goes in to creating a Show of this scale, with a team of hundreds producing what will be a great spectacle and a Show for families to enjoy. All the exhibitors have come together to create a truly great display of boats, and with features including LIVE Wakeboarding, the BOSE LIVE Stage and the GUINNESS Bar, this is the Show not to miss."

Overnight, PUMA tucked in behind the race leader, Ericsson 3, at one point crossing over her track, before settling on a heading just slightly to the east of Anders Lewander and his men. PUMA skipper Kenny Read wrote in about the improved mood on board as the crew tackles repairs and begins to focus on speed again.
